So, which Pelican album do you enjoy the most?

Australasia for me. And obviously those who vote for the final option need to get themselves down to the local record store.

I used to like Australasia a lot , but as the time passed by The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw realy grew on me, so now it's my fave. Pelican are great band indeed

I think Australasia is my favorite record, followed closely by City of Echoes.  Australasia seems like the most concise, inspired piece of work from the band.  You can tell right away when putting on the album that the band had something to prove, and they delivered.

The Fire...followed closely by Australasia. COE is alright, and their newest is a bit bland imo.

However, my favorite thing they've made is their self titled EP.

Yeah the debut EP is pretty good, a really heavy and thick sound.

Australasia just seems so visceral and powerful, but it is also quite subtle. Which seems strange for such a heavy album. Fire probably needs to grow on me more, but it's also good. Echoes is not as bad as people make it out to be, but it doesn't have that killer blow that Australasia has. The latest just seems like Echoes part II, from the few tracks I've heard.

What we all come to need gets my vote, all of them are great!
