Mine has to be .3 from In Absentia. Really good atmospheric song and I love the e-bowed guitar. Closely followed by Anesthetize or The Sky Moves Sideways.

Whatever I choose is not going to be a permanent decision.Mood is everything when I listen to Porcupine Tree and I love so many of their songs. Today I'll choose Dark Matter. That song was the highlight of the FOABP concert for me.

My vote was Trains. A flawless track from beginning to end. It's also absolutely stunning live.

From the list, yes. Of all their songs that I've heard my favourite is Open Car.

It's between Fadeaway, Dark Matter and The Sky Moves Sideways. 3 wonderful tracks from 3 masterpieces...
Gonna have to go with Fadeaway, though.

Nice poll, and some really interesting choices .
To be honest I love most of these. However, as it's classed as one song I'm going for The Incident. That's a fantastic album from start to finish and probably their best full stop.
Others I considered closely are Moonloop, Waiting (both parts), Even Less, TSMS and the magical The Nostalgia Factory (that really was a good choice!)

I love pretty much everything they've done, and my favourite changes every day depending on mood. Today, I'm saying Anesthetize. What a song! It really sounded spectacular when they played part two live when I saw them recently.
Other favourites include: Russia on Ice, .3, Dark Matter, Even Less (extended), TSMS, The Incident, and Waiting.

Mine isn't even on the list, Buying New Soul!
If I had to select one from that list I would have to choose Anesthitize.

Today, I went with "Even Less" though I like the two phase polls, I did one for Porcupine Tree last year that had two phases, first phase called for everyone to nominate their favorite PT song, then the second phase allowed voting on only the top five or so nominated songs.
At the time, "Arriving Somewhere..." received the overwhelming amount of nominations though surprisingly lost round two to Anesthetize.
Other favorites include "Last Chance to Evacuate...", "Russia on Ice", ".3" and "Buying New Soul".

I've recently (really) got into Anesthetize, so at the moment I'd vote for that, but I'm going for Synesthesia because it's the first song of theirs I got into (it was almost the first one I ever heard, but that honour goes to What You Are Listening To...)

Arriving Somewhere but Not Here.
It just sort of floats along, takes it's time, establishes it's mood and doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's hard to explain. It's just great.

"Don't Hate Me" is probably the best song from Stupid Dream, and one of my personal very favorite PT songs. Theo Travis' guest appearance is just magical.

Ambulance Chasing... SW the roy Budd of prog rock! Buying New Soul... frrk... none of my top 20 pop disco trendy numbers are here... Nil Recurring... nope, nothing happening again...
Arriving.. vs Burning Sky... needs Small Fishes to preface that classic so I'll go with Arriving Somwhere... can't go wrong with any... Nostalgia Factory is a greta number...but The Incident is still my least favourite. Bit of a dividing line this album among Tree fans...
The big news... look at the poll for Radioactive Toy. Not a vote. Must be one of their worst and least popular tunes...

Last time the poll surfaced I went with "Even Less", were I voting today, the winner would be "Dark Matter". The solo in that song has got to be one of Mr. Wilson's most soulful.
