These are a few of the albums I find myself listening to alot lately (there are more famous names but I thought that would make the poll unfair) and I thought I'd just make a fun little poll out of it.  Which one do you prefer? Smile

Right now, none. But most recently, The Crane Wife.

Interesting selection of stuff.  I vote for PG3, with PH Over in 2nd place.  I liked that Decemberists album at first, but nowadays it doesn't do much for me.  (which made the superb Hazards of Love an even greater surprise!)

Not gonna vote as I have not heard all of them, but Crane Wife is beautiful.

Over is definitely the pick of the litter.

The Crane Wife is something special.  As is most of The Decemberists, really.

I haven't heard anything on this list, but I'm interested in Over. What do you think of it?

Over is really an acquired taste (even more so than the rest of his output) as it is extremely personal, but I love those kind of albums.

Act III is the most recent aquisition of mine, and is thus the most listened to in recent memory.  After that comes The Crane Wife.  I have had PG3 for many many years, and is the one most listened to overall.

I absolutely adore all three Dear Hunter albums, what do you think of them?

I've only heard Peter Gabriel 3, so no vote.  That said, PG3 is such a masterpiece I'm sure not even a Hammill album can top it.
