And now for something a little less serious...
When you decide to respond to a poll on PA which of the two choices do you do first? Do you submit typed words or do you make a little green dot appear and click vote?
I for one always reply first.

Funnily enough, I always reply first, but this time I voted first, yet I still voted reply before replying.

Good poll
I vote, then I reply. Did the same right now. Any other order would have been wrong I think...
BTW after I vote usually I have to refresh the page because the thread won't show up, just the poll results. Is anyone else having the same issue?

How odd - I always vote first, but having read your post I feel compelled to reply before voting and then vote vote to maintain the balance and ensure teh world continues to spin on its axis.
------------- What?

I thought that was just me! It does that to me sometimes as well.
Sometimes I reply and then forget to vote.

That shows up fine, but then it'll only load the poll part of the page. Sometimes something similar happens when I choose not to go to my inbox when I get a PM.

I scroll down and read the replies of others. Then if I am going to reply I reply, then if I am going to vote I vote. I always (well nearly always) reply first just in case I change my mind while I am writing my reply.
Now I'm going to vote.

Then it's got to be something to do with the way Firefox handles Javascript Alert boxes then.

It's happened on other forums as well, so probably.

Same, and not because of any technical difficulties, aside from technical cranial difficulties.
I usually reply first, and rarely vote without replying. And sometimes writing a post helps me to decide how to vote.
I'm not as interested in the poll results as I am in the comments/ discussion.

Good to see Ulver topping that poll - it's a magnificent cover pic.
I still think it's a Firefox problem, not a mailto:M@X - M@X problem, but I'll pass the info on to him.

I vote and then reply.
The reason why is that if I reply and then vote, and then refresh the page, the box telling me thank you for voting appears again.

Isn't it odd how being consistently inconsistent can actually be a form of consistency in and of itself?

I admit, replying first does give the opportunity to forget to actually vote. I've done that more than once.
And thats right stoney. Fight the power!

Do you think we could enough support to kill that? It's the bane of poll threads.
Why would you reply before voting?
