I downloaded Dwarf Fortress, I opened the interface, and immediately gave up. It would have to be the best game in the world for me to put the effort into figuring that out.

But what else would I do with my time?
Get a girlfriend?
Go outside?
Play guitar?
Leave my bed?

Pssssssht over rated

Edit: I will say....doodle god was strange. Literally the most pointless thing ever, no award/fun from it whatsoever.....yet I couldn't stop. I think it was the trippy music.

If an internet game could ever be described as 'proggy', this one would have to be it.

The interface is more accessible than some of the popular prog albums on this site LOL

I'm actually playing through all of these right now.  So far, the best one is Coma, and the worst is Doodle God.  Seriously, what is the point of that game?

Doodle God is a joke.

I don't know, but I beat it. It wasn't fun at all, but I kept playing anyway. LOL

How do you beat the game?  Discover all the elements?

Yeah, all 115. That's basically all you do. It gets monotonous.

"Creepily" is annoying with that one part and the two monsters who kill you instantly.

My favorite one is http://www.rrrrthats5rs.com/games/dont-shoot-the-puppy/ - Don't Shoot The Puppy. It's surprisingly difficult.

Also, thank you Henry for posting a bunch of ridiculously addictive games that are now sucking up all my free time and ruining my life. Angry

I'm sure it's happened, but I don't remember ever beating a flash game. They're always so damn long unless you have inhuman reflexes. I got stuck on the level immediately after you lose the ability to walk left. I could have beaten it, but who has the time?

Doodle God plays on our stupid human brains. Getting one is a reward, so we must get ALL OF THEM.

For those who prefer their games to be infinite, http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/529110 - this is pretty awesome . I got to 4600 meters, I could have gone longer but I missed the invincibility powerup.

Flash games numb the misery of my unemployed existence.

http://www.kongregate.com/games/glimajr/continuity - This is the best one I've played all year. A perfect mix of puzzle and platform.

http://armorgames.com/play/2893/achievement-unlocked - This is a brilliant satire of the stupid 'achievement' system of a lot of modern games. In my day you only needed one goal - save the princess, get the highscore. Nowadays you haven't won a game until you've unlocked fifty different hats and found every pointless hidden shiny thing in every flippin' level. Bah.

Finally, http://www.kongregate.com/games/TheGameHomepage/red-remover - this is the most fun you can have without actually having any fun.

I have no idea how I've managed to maintain a meaningful relationship with a lady for the last five years.

Lol, Josh has no life.

Trouser, I already linked Continuity in the OP! I meant to link Achievement Unlocked but I forgot, so here's http://armorgames.com/play/6561/achievement-unlocked-2 - Achievement Unlocked 2 . The red game is fun, there's a game like that on the iPhone/ipod touch but that version is better.

It's actually quite short (only 12 stages,) and I could beat in about 20 minutes.

If you want to see a real hard game, try http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/index.php - this.   I can't even get past the first world on Easy.

Oh, and before I forget, http://gamejolt.com/online/games/platformer/specter-spelunker-shrinks/1865/ - this is an absolute belter. It's amazing to think it took so long for someone to come up with such a brilliantly simple yet utterly revolutionary idea for a platformer.

Yeah, it was Mind-Bending.

http://www.kongregate.com/games/ArmorGames/heir - A flash version of Shadow of the Collossus why not?

I've not played any of them.

However, I did play the Dragon Age: Origins Flash game just to get some loot for the main game. LOL

Probably too unexciting for most...
