Hello,
I would like to request adding Jack Jeffery to the artists covered by your site, and would appreciate your consideration.
The album "Passage to Agadir" (2010) contains a variety of musical styles, but is largely ambient, psychedelic, and progressive rock influenced by Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, The Moody Blues, and Brian Eno. The tracks are sequenced to transport the listener on a trip through ambient, psychedelic, electronic, acoustic, and folk rock soundscapes. I recommend in particular checking out the tracks "Passage to Agadir," "Mind Horizon," "Where's the Ambient Jam?" "Parsonian Segue," and "Interstellar Echoes on the Dark Side" (available from the links below) as exemplary of the progressive aspect of the music. I also sent some tracks to your email address indicated in your submission guidelines ([email protected]).
I sincerely appreciate your considering my request to be added to your website, and I hope you enjoy the music. Also, thank you for providing a great resource for progressive rock fans. Sites like yours are not only very helpful in discovering new music, but they are essential to exposing music by independent solo artists like me to the rest of the world, and I appreciate your providing that valuable service. Thank you again for your time and consideration of my music. Jack Jeffery www.myspace.com/jackjeffery http://www.ilike.com/artist/Jack+Jeffery “Passage to Agadir” is available from CD Baby at www.cdbaby.com/cd/jjeffery, iTunes, Amazon.com, and other online music outlets.
