Sorry, I just can't take a band like Periphery seriously when the singer sounds like he's been gargling with stone dust and bleach. I'm definitely in the minority here and among the rest of their fans but I am actually very fond of Spencer's vocal work with Periphery. Casey or Chris might have been better but that doesn't bug me. I still prefer to always listen to the studio album as opposed to the instrumental version. -------------

This poll seems like a bad joke (as somebody had mentioned above). Are actually comparable the band with 13 (+-) excellent studio albums vs. fresh young band with only one debut?

You mean you don't hear the similarities at all?  Should it matter how many albums a band has? If they've got good music out it shouldn't matter how much material a band has. -------------

| I love both bands so much. But I CANNOT stop listening to the Periphery debut. And King Crimson is old news to me. And Periphery's vocalist really appeals to me for some reason (though I'm not usually a fan of metal-core, these guys are an exception). |
