OK,   If you had an option to own an undiscovered studio album from the prime period of one of these aritsts, which one would you rush out and grab?

BTW,  I own at least one album from all of the bands listed!

I still have yet to check out  Ange, Art Bears or Art Zoyd  but they are on my list!

Argent, Anekdoten and Alphataurus are interesting options. But my vote goes to another band: Alquin.

Tough, Amon Duul II, Anathema and Anekdoten are high up there in my favorites. Also Ash Ra Temple and Area are great.
Voted Duul

I have this terrible feeling that I voted Arena by mistake. Meant Area. Art Zoyd would have gotten it (with Amon Düül in third).

I am voting other for Art Zoyd.  On the list I particularly like Area, Amon Duul II, Agitation Free, and Ash Ra Tempel.

I also wish to give David Axelrod and Art Bears a nod.  And if this were in General Music polls, I'd really want to mention Alessandro Alessandroni.

Other - AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaart Zoyd or Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaltered States (the Japanese group).  If Altered States, I'd like one from the period where they went fully improv, what I have from that time period is awesome.  From the list, either ADII or Ash Ra Tempel or Area or Agitation Free.

how odd,i have not been to these forums for quite awhile and as i type this im listening to "Thick As a Brick" according to what i have read recently this album was a contemptuous response to the claims of it being a "prog Rock" album,in other words a parody, how ironic that it ended up as one of the great examples of the prog rock genre Ian Anderson despised and sought to mock.
