Hello!

I just joined this forum after using the "progarchives" for awhile. First of all I would like to send out a big THANKS to everybody responsible for the "progarchives". I believe you are doing an absolutely amazing job. I have had so much use of that site, so keep up the good work!!

I started listening to Saga, Mike Oldfield and Jean-Michel Jarre when I was about 11 or 12 years old so I guess you could say that my "prog-career" started there...

Well this was just a little first post. I hope to get back here soon and to read more of all you guys interesting posts.

I do however have a question now that I got your attention. I am interested in getting hold of some early Saga recordings (both audio and video). I once saw some live stuff on a german TV channel which look pretty cool. This was probably more that 10 years ago and the show itself must have been recorded around 1982 (???). Unfortunatly is was broadcasted in the middle of the night and I could not turn the volume up because a would have woken my parents... I did have a nice time watching Michael Sadler's moustache thogh...
Does anybody know where I can get hold of anything by Saga? Website? Links? Torrents?

Thank you and hope to hear from you!

Robert E, Sweden

Hi and welcome!

Saga is a very good band. I usually get any Saga I need from Barnes and Nobles http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.asp?userid=sJ63rmHBVo&CTR=69268 - http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.asp?userid=sJ 63rmHBVo&CTR=69268

If you can't get stuff from here in Sweden, try here http://synphonic.8m.com/country/canada.htm - http://synphonic.8m.com/country/canada.htm

Hello!

Thank you "dalt99" for your welcome and the links you posted. The "official releases" are however not that hard to get here in Sweden.

What I was thinking of was more like stuff recorded from TV and/or Radio. And especially from the earlier peroid around the first 4 or 5 albums.

A big Hello and a nice weekend to people out in the world who are using, reading, writing in this forum!

Robert. Sweden
