I just went through the top 10 songs on iTunes, and I'm torn between laughing out loud and crying. I know many people like music that is stupid, shallow, and repetitive, but to actually hear these shakes my hope in humanity. That is not...The Head and the Heart? Tanner, Wikipedia describes them as indie folk-pop and they opened for Vampire Weekend, that is enough for me. I actually kind of like the Mumford and Sons song that says f**k, but that's only because I'm emo.

I like Vampire Weekend, they're good at what they do (and I like that kind of stuff). But they can sound annoying to many ears. I don't get why Mumford & Sons get so much praise. I found their best album just a bit above average. |
