good album, far from the decemberists best, and not good as an intro to the band ------------- who hiccuped endlessly trying to giggle but wound up with a sob |

I did not like, and gave it 2 stars. The fact that it isn't prog didn't bother me at all, but everything was so dull sounding, couldn't wait till it was over. Also, most country music annoys me. -------------

| A really great album. As others said, not prog, but I like alternative and folk rock as well. I like their sound overall, and the song writing is solid on this one. |
