Okay, I promised harmonium.ro and Guldbamsen to do this one. It's simple: choose your favorite early Floyd album, then your second favorite early Floyd album etc. So the left one is your most favorite of the four, the right one your least favorite. If you say: we want "More"  : that's the lowest rated album from early Floyd, but of course you may mention it in between brackets in your post.To be precise: PATGOD = Piper At The Gates Of Dawn ASOS = A Saucerful Of Secrets AHM = Atom Heart Mother At first I included the complete titels, but they were to big for the poll. |

Ok what happened there? I voted for one option and another one got the vote... Anyway I went with AHM - Ummagumma - PATGOD - ASOS. Atom Heart Mother alongside Ummagumma are Floyd at their most adventurous, and no matter how much they detest the former - I´ll keep on loving it for as long as I live. Ummagumma sounds very much like a precursor to the Krautrock movement(which I also tried to explain in my review of the album). Piper is pure gold and unlike anything else they did, and Syd remains one of my favourite mad caps, and people who´s into the first album should definitely check out his first solo record. Saucerful is a wonderful, albeit slightly messy psych album, and I honestly prefer both More and Obscured by Clouds to it.
