Ok, Nightwish isn't exactly a prog band, but I feel that they have used elements of progressive music since their first album 'Angels Fall First'.
This new album is a concept album, and they are supposed to be filming a feature-length movie to go with the album. That sounds kinda proggy to me

| That main riff sounds WAY too much like the main riff in Master Passion Greed... This song sounds a bit generic, but a concept album from them is definitely promising! I'm really interested to hear "Song of Myself". |

Now that you mention it, the new song DOES sound a bit like Master Passion Greed. I guess I didn't notice it at first.

Don't these guys get bored of writing the same song over and over again? .... I like their 3 first records, but they repeating themselves with every new release ain't pretty exciting to be honest ------------- But now my branches suffer And my leaves don't bear the glow They did so long ago |
