 two really good norwegain art rock bands (heavy and eclectic prog), who are really loved home in these shores, the music is really melodic, catchy and eccentric, and it is very apealing i bet you all are wrestling with the difficulty to chose one band since this is very tough and you have deeep knowledge of each bands music and have thuroghly experienced the music,, both bands have two albums, one is disbanded the other is working on the third album , two bands with very distinct sounds this will be the most awesome and challenging poll ever, let the exilerating game begin -------------

If someone sees a band they've heard once, the kneejerk reaction is 'omg must vote for them'. I don't think anyone extensively listens to both bands and weighs up a list of negative and positives....

| Which one disbanded? I like it when Gates shows some muscle. I like MP's sense of humor. I disqualify myself from voting for....I have only one album from each band. Plus I still don't know which band is longer with us. |

Gåte disbanded in 2005 or 06 if memory servs me right, the vocalist in Gåte is really cute and a very good singer, almost as good as Björk

I much much prefer Major Parkinson myself, such a brilliant band! I do like Gåte as well, just not on the same level.
