Hello again, According to my little google box my articles on scottish music and the origin of Prog Rock went down pretty well with ProgArchives, so I'm back with another one!

I'm sure that many of you know that a pitch axis is when you take a single key pitch and build modal chords or sounds around it, and as long as the pitch is in every chord you can create some really great exotic sounds like Satch and Vai, like so  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gSXZRgWzp8" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gSXZRgWzp8

Well, I've known about the idea for a while but only recently started using it, so feedback on here is always welcome.
