Hey Guys... I
just found this and am pleased to see so many here. I have been a prog
rocker since I was 7. Heard Pink Floyd and was hooked. Been discovering
new stuff for a long time. I really got hooked on King crimson 17 years
ago(seen em' live front row too!!!) Been a hardcore Rush fan for over 2
decades. Love Genesis(Peter Gabriel's) plus a smidge of the later stuff
till about '83. Discovered Yes when I was young too. Not to mention
ELP. Also a Proud owner of 90 Zappa albums. Been a bass and keyboard
guy in a few different bands. Some of my own design. Discovered VDGG
recently... Always loved Peter Hammil on RF's Exposure album. Didn't
know much about Pete until A Friend said Something about VDGG That
stirred my curiousity. Well I gave them a listen and WOW!!! Then I do a
websearch and lo and behold The origins of Pete Hammil!!! I know now
why Fripp Chose him for his first solo album. Well I could just keep on
going and Going. SAY?!?! What Camel and Gentle Giant can
you recommend me??? Again Nice to be here and look foward to future chatting and posting

Hi there,
you'll probably get different recommendations from everyone but here are mine:
Camel - Snow Goose (different from their other early albums and exactly why it is the only one I really like)
Gentle Giant - In a Glass House (i think this is their pinnacle album although the others from the early catalog are good too)
