Bubu's Anebalas is an album that blew me away, and it's an album that has stood the test of time for me.  That album had a major impact on me, and is surely one of my absolutes faves in the Eclectic category. Perhaps my two favourite prog albums from South America are Anabelas and Arrigo Barnabe's Clara Crocodilo (though I found one in this contest, whose name escapes me, which I'm sure if I had the album could compete with those).

Anabelas is just incredible.

Although there are some elements I like, I don't really like what I've heard of Jaime Rosas.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Went with Bubu, I don't think Rosas stands a chance here. But I must say his second video sounds really great, I don't care for the sound so much but I would like to check some more of this album, I remember it got some loving reviews.

I haven't actually listened to Bubu before, although I know of them. I was kind of disappointed when I heard the videos of the two songs, but hey maybe it's not for me. I'll probably end up giving them another try.
I really liked Jaime Rosas, espesially the second video, I was even nodding my head to it. This is defineatly an artist who I will listen to in the future.

I'm really looking forward to this world cup thing as it's exposing me to a whole new continent that I have absolutely no experience with South American music.
Thanks!

Bubu is great, but I have to give my vote to Jaime Rosas. I really enjoyed the two samples from him.

One more vote for Bubu, but this is a close call for me.

As far as I understand, Bubu is one of Latin America's most legendary bands. However, it doesn't seem to be exactly my cup of tea. Perhaps more listenings are required, though. I have heard only one or two times on YouTube Mahavishnu Orchestra's "Birds of Fire", but as far as I remember, it sounds very similar to this Bubu's album. I'll be giving my vote to Jaime Rosas.
