As the official website says, it is a show about cute, cuddly animals whose daily adventures always end up going horribly wrong. Depsite it's cute name and childish apperance, it is extremely violent. The show is inspired by the itchy and scratchy show in the simpsons. Here are some episodes:

Seen a few episodes, it was funny for two but did get kinda stale.
And no offense or horror or anything, just eh...kinda predictable quickly.
I did enjoy the various non word noises they make.

I have no idea why I would ever want to watch any of these.

Saw quite a few of these years back, on a show called Happy Tree Friends And Friends, where they'd show various animated shorts of different shows as well as Happy Tree Friends. Didn't find Happy Tree Friends very funny back then, and Petey and Jaydee (quite similar in style) was just lame, even worse. I found Angry Kid, an Aardman animation, quite good though.

I watched one episode - it was great! It was also enough.

It's ancient history to me. Yet, they're funnier and less boring than South Park.

I liked it when I was 11.

Strange idea for a cartoon, actually.  The funniest thing about Itchy and Scratchy was that it WASN'T real, but rather it was an absurd exaggeration of the violence of Tom and Jerry cartoons.  To make a real life Itchy and Scratchy type cartoon seems to miss the point of the joke, and then just goes into the realm of shock value.  Not putting it down, but it does seem like an idea with a short shelf life.

Yes it's true. But it seems even more kid-friendly that Itchy and Scratchy.

They made a television series after the short episodes because the show was so popular. So the popularity of Happy Tree Friends is not dying.
