An incredible British ensemble playing a hybrid of krautrock and Alice Coltrane-style jazz and God knows what else, Orchestra of the Upper Atmosphere is directed by Martin Archer (of avant-prog darlings Combat Astronomy). I'm still trying to wrap my head around this; I'll let the music speak for itself before I lapse into hyperbole.

EDIT: I just realised that only the first disc of this double album is featured on Grooveshark. Since it's their only release, will the above samples be sufficient representatives of their sound, or is the full record required?

Thanks Gordy, I'm glad you've enjoyed our release, and you kind words about it are much appreciated.   However, I've no idea what Grooveshark is, and the album's presence there to be listened to for free is not authorised by OUA.  Making and releasing this album cost £5000, and that means we need to sell physical copies. You can hear extracts and buy the CD at http://www.discus-music.co.uk" rel="nofollow - www.discus-music.co.uk     Without that, there won't be a second album!  Many thanks, Martin Archer, OUA.
