I just found out about this actShocked This is Irmin Schmidt and Jaki Liebezeit from CAN getting back together + electronic dabbler Burnt Friedman as well as the more obscure Jono Podmore.
Their 2013 release is a self-titled EP with 4 experimental Krautrock tracks.
Personally I find it almost too good to be true, that folks this old still are able to freak out like this.

This is the entire EP off of JooToob(except for one track, as it would seem):





I'm just going to post a link to this thread in the Krautrock quarters right away, - I just wanted to share my enthusiasm with the folks out there who have no access to the land of milk and honeySmile

Why have I not heard of this ????? Liebezeit & Schmidt must be well into their 70's

Then try clicking on one of these clips, and it gets even more perplexing. I mean, folks this age still are able to churn such experimental music out. I know a couple of dinosaur bands who could learn a lot from these guys...

They are waaaay ahead of their time, always have been, it just takes a bit for the world to catch up .
