Not made anymore and you have to use their software, the Zune was the best player in my book. I still use it, and it has gapless playback. The ZuneHD has very cool screen saver with album art scrolling........Online they are very expensive.

Other than that I suppose your phone is next best choice. Here is my ZuneHD.......

My Zune is still alive and kicking but lately I use my Android.   The only drawback is the lack of room.  I've had to supplement it with a flash drive.

I haven't noticed a lack of quality myself.

I use my Android phone with a 32 GB Micro SD card. So far, I haven't needed more than that.
It seems perhaps the iPhone did sound a little better, but really, I don't see anything wrong with the sound on my phone with awesome earbuds.

You really do need a good set of earbuds if you are going to use earbuds.  I've tried many and most are crap.  I have found one good set.

I think he was talking more about like, one that fits in your pocket.
Admittedly, though, I use Winamp on my Android phone.
Works great, except for the occasional crash, which is probably more my decrepit phone than Winamp.
I used to use Amazon MP3 to play music, now I just use it to download from the cloud and then play with Winamp.
Amazon MP3 (And Google Play Music, for that matter) would cut out multiple times in the middle of a song, just stopping for no reason. Considering I like to air guitar, it's pretty weird when you're walking along the street shredding and then you suddenly don't know what to do anymore, right when the teenage girl passes by.

So I started using Winamp. Ever since, no problems with track freezing.
Occasionally just total freezes, but no song cutting-out.
It actually hasn't totally froze for a while now, though.

Unfortunately, you can no longer download Winamp for Android from the Google Play Store.
Or Winamp for PC from the Winamp Website, for that matter.
It's a shame, but they discontinued it.
Oh snap, I should've made a thread for this.
Maybe I'll make a poll asking if I should make a thread for this.
Heh, Peace.

StaaVi
