Prog dating now !
A lonely progressive heart forum needs to be created! actually seeing the very few women liking prog, they could take their pick as they got nuff choice!
But if the women start choosing themselves as partner, ours (progheads) is a dying race!

have to embrace for that title. Maybe I'll change when I grow up and

Hmmmm...what's this? Someone offering themselves to become one of my harem? Too bad I can't see the picture. I'm assuming jitu is a woman.
P.S.: No I haven't left yet. I'm putting it off as long as possible. I may even stretch it out to close to five today.

When you get to used in living alone, it's very difficult share your life with anybody else. Compromises are easy to do in things that don't have any value, but in those which are important, it's almost impossible. So the affairs can't work. I'm also too perfectionist, so I meet persons who interest me that much about once a year. Too seldom...
I also think I'm bit f*cked up in my head.
If anybody didn't get it, no.

It took me until 19 to have a serious rationship with a woman. You have your whole life in front of you. I wouldn't fret about chicks right now. Enjoy and embrace the single life and the freedoms that go with it and later on you can ruin it by landing a girlfriend.

I'm the same way. Very unsociable habits...except I'm 16.
However, girlfriends can be too time consuming, and since I'm really focusing on music and art, I don't feel like having to deal with the committment or the "drama" that comes with having a relationship. So I say "screw it" for now.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any girls who like me. I've
been told by 9 different girls this past school year that they weren't
interested in me (I did everything from asking them to a dance to
writing a note saying "I like you, but I think we should get to know
each other better before we decide on anything". I go to a small school
(about 45 kids in my class), so everybody kinda knows each other, so
it's not like I'm a total stranger to them.
One time, I was about to ask a girl to a dance (she knew I liked her),
so I went up to her to ask. She was in a conversation with another guy,
and right in front of me, he asked her out, and she said yes. I was
left in an awkward position, so I covered it by asking her how she
liked the CD I lent her (Thick as a Brick). To make things worse, she
hated it.
(sorry, I just had to vent)
Well, a girl did insist on taking me clothes shopping this Thursday... maybe something will come up

I've had a girlfriend for two months now. She digs most of the prog-metal I've shown her (in particular Opeth, who we went to see live a few weeks ago), but the only 70s prog band I've dared to show her as of yet is Pink Floyd (who she quite likes). Once she hears Yes or Genesis, I'm pretty sure that our relationship will be finished...

Quite wrong... I love prog.. prefer to listen to it continuously... and I have lots of female friends who are also into it. We do Nearfest every year.. might even to the Prog Fest in Chapel Hill this year... I do Progeny in London every year... and I have a boyfriend who's favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Marillion and Porcupine Tree. Well, thats easily explained. My last girlfriend said I was out of her league and far too good for her, so I done the honourable thing and ended it!
