A Happy New Year to all! Let's hope it's a good one, without any fear. 2013 was very eventful for the newly reunited British progrockers Flash... 1. with their new release, "Flash Featuring Ray Bennett & Colin Carter";  2. lots of good reviews, including the #6 spot on a 2013 TOP TEN list from Music St. Journal's Gary Hill; 3. TOP BAND and ALBUM for Dec. 2013 in Brazil's "Prog Rock & Prog Metal" E-zine 4. the discovery of a VINYL RELEASE of their '72 debut album, "Flash" with the ORIGINAL GATEFOLD COVER from Friday Music; 5. and the whopping discovery that all the vintage Flash music (except the Friday Music vinyl release) has been stolen and reissued, including a release of a rare, complete concert recording from 1973. (I guess theft is also a form of flattery! But the Universal Music Group which owns the copyrights isn't impressed.) 2014 is going to be interesting and exciting! Our last word was that Cleopatra was planning vinyl releases of all three vintage studio Flash albums.
