Sorry to butt in on your thread ladies, but I have to say that in my entire life thus far (42 and counting) I've NEVER met a female prog fan! Prog is seriously short on appreciation by the fairer sex. Sadly, my wife is into Cliff Richard - but I'm already working on the kids so hopefully they can be saved! |

Well met, Axis, I would work on the kids but I have none Prog is short on appreciation because most listen to what their female friends listen to, usually pop. I have no female friends so I listen to what my boyfriend feeds me(prog) and I love it. ------------- Signatures eh... Nah I'll pass on one of those. |

Sadly the closest thing I have to a proggy female friend is my druggie friend who likes Pink Floyd and Procol Harum. ...actually that's also the closest thing I have to a proggy friend, regardless of gender! It's clear I need to start converting more people. |

I've been a female all my life and a prog enthusiast for 30...ummm40?[ yike!] years. It never occured to me that "we" might be in the minority? There are tons of gals into prog- you may have not heard from them cuz they enjoy more quietly. melodic metal has been a new discovery for me and I only leap and bop at home where no one can see! !!!
