The two Atmospheric Sludge/Sludge Metal/Post-Metal/whatever bands I've listened to. Both very popular amongst fans of the genre. Also, their names rhyme. Overall Neurosis is probably more consistently good, but Isis has two albums (Oceanic and Panopticon) that are leagues ahead of anything Neurosis ever did. |

Isis for me. I heard Garden Of Light when it came out (2006 so I was very young) and I thought it was pretty great and came back to it a couple of years ago, and that album ("In The Absence Of Truth") is great!
