For those who like a bit of krumhorn and bassoon in their prog the mighty Gryphon will be touring UK next year, dates TBD will post when I find them.

They were superb in their comeback in 2009 and sure they will delight again.

That'll be good, I saw Richard Harvey playing with John Williams (the guitarist) recently, he can play a lot of instruments!

(and no, they didn't play the theme from Star Wars)

Very exciting! Gryphon is one of my favorite bands I was first introduced to on this site. I hope there is a new album in the works, and that they would do a U.S. west coast tour, as unlikely as that might be.
