METROPOLIS PART 2 - SCENES FROM A MEMORY

With the addition of Jordan Rudess on keyboards, the virtuostic appeal of the band came more notable clear here, but it can go overboard sometimes and sounding very hectic sometimes, but otherwise, the song-writing is excellent, following the concept of the "Metropolis" track featured on the 1992 "Images & Words" album. I will not go into any further details here, as this review will get too long if I do that, but I can say that it's very well done conceptually. However, "Through Her Eyes" along with a couple of other parts here are horrible, really poor and drags this album way down. But the other material is very strong musically. 4.5/5
