Well, you don't know the band FOREVER TWELVE? Hopefully this will approach to have a listen after reading. Okay, first of all, in opposite to the delivered music the cover art is kinda .... eh, less challenging so to say. Hence don't hesitate. I once stumbled upon the song Daisy Chain when collecting stuff for a new broadcast. Unconventional one, tricky, though also melodic to the core. Just what I'm regularly searching for. Being really happy about that find I dared to ignore the other stuff more or less for some reason. But now I'm back again in time.

It took seven years to get a new sign of life, though the line up remained relatively stable. Solely singer John Baker is new, also known as a former member of Mars Hollow. And he has aquired a rather important role here. This is vintage 1970's prog at its best one can say. Steve Barberic for instance will serve up an impressing widespread keyboard range including strings, piano, hammond, mellotron aso. They are starting with the obligatory extended suite The Seven Seas, provided with some YES leanings. Works quite good, including multiple faces really comfortable in fact.

And in the meanwhile I learned to love the title track more and more. 'This day is a wonderful day' - an earworm, high recognition value, something which encourages to sing along after a while. Enough said about the Daisy Chain beforehand. The following songs are not that brilliant anymore, though still enjoyable nevertheless. Enchanting album! This occasionally reminded me of Frank Wyatt's Oblivion Sun respectively Pedal Giant Elements, a more vivid version anyhow. FOREVER TWELVE - a band I will keep an eye on in the future, this won't be the last outing I'm sure.
