OMMADAWN

I like this one better than Tubular Bells but less than Herdgest Ridge. I can't help but thinking that Oldfield was a precurssor to new age music but also made attempt at supermarket or elevator music ( no insult or joke intended - but it is true that one hears that music in those places). In itself , the music is fine even if lacking a bit of depth, but with such a lack of substance, I cannot stand losing 40 mins of my life anymore to get so few and over-extended musical ideas.

A classic electronic rock album, but also really more of an ambiant or new-age masterpiece. But since I am not a fan of those.............
