3 stars This album is a collection of LE ORME singles (and probably some previously unreleased songs) from '67 to '70, band's big beat period. Nice, memorable songs, quite typical for the era. For my ears "L'aurora delle Orme" is more listenable than their debut album "Ad Gloriam".

Later reissue, "L'Aurora plus" contains 2 tracks from the 60's, "Blue Rondo a la Turk" (Brubeck) and "Concerto N.3" (Bach), which are good missing link between LE ORME debut album and their first prog effort, "Collage". I always wondered how different are these albums. "Blue Rondo a la Turk" and "Concerto N.3" show band's experiments with progressive sound in the very beginning of their career.

Recommended for those who are familiar with LE ORME classic albums and want to know more about band's roots.
