The goal of Sul Divano is to spread its own musical production as well as to interpret prestigious authors related to the groupīs work, such as the North American composer Frank Zappa . Going through different periods of his music, the band intends to illustrate the nature of his work, by taking parts of his original arrangements in some pieces, and at times re-arranging others for the sake of developing of the group.
As it is well known, Zappaīs music is distinguished by its rhythmical and harmonic richness. Sul Divano has mastered the ability to capture and re-create the essence of his music
Likewise, Sul Divano has duly thought of another composer whose reputation can be paralleled to that of Zappa, that is the case of Astor Piazzolla. Here the band's electrical sonority offers a new dimension to his music.
