Messengers biography
MESSENGERS were a Berlin based jazz rock group active in the late 70's. The band started out with more than a dozen members which were needed for playing brass rock, with a lot of the songs written by Bernhard JOBSKI (known for working composing the symphonic Einstein In Eden record in the 80s) and vocals were sung by Antonia MAAS. After funk and soul influenced debut album, the group expanded and included a large ensemble for their last but most progressive and orchestral work Children Of Tomorrow, which was recorded at Hansa Studios, at the same time David BOWIE recorded Heroes.
