The Next Generation Of Sound biography
The Next Generation Of Sound is an Austrian jazz-fusion collaborative project from Graz that was founded by Paul Urbanek (keyboards), Alexander Machacek (guitar), Raphael Preuschl (bass) and Michael Provaznig (drums). The project started in the year 1999, released its first album Musical Universe - Universal Music in 2000 and seems to have laid low for a couple decades. The second album Chapter 2 emerged in 2020 on the Skylark Productions label. The band delivers a classic instrumental jazz-fusion sound from the 1970s in the vein of lounge lizard chilled out fusion like some of Pat Metheny's works.
