MUSCLE MUSEUM

This EP is a short version of their debut album. It only holds one unpublished track : "Instant Messenger". This track holds everything you need about Muse : a weird intro, nice melody, good vocal harmonies, a heavy passage and a noisy and irritating portion. All of this in 3'30". In one word : Muse.

There is an alternate version of "Muscle Museum" called "2". The least that I can say is that it could have remained unreleased in this format. Drums sound absolutely awful. Like if Dominic was hurting a saucepan. Avoid it by all means.

Some of the album tracks are pretty decent. The original "Muscle Museum" of course as well as "Uno". While "Unintended" highlights their soft side and "Sober" their heavy one.

This EP, while displaying most of Muse's facet is a collector item. Two stars.
