5 stars This one is the best debut from polish prog rock ever. Abraxas lead vocal Adam Lassa is a very characteristic person; his way of singing is unique. It is alittle bit close to Erly Marillion - Fish way of singing or maybe Peter Gabriel but his voice is more dramatic, much more theatrical and evem histerical. It is hard to assimilate at the start but, believe me, more you listen, more you like it and Finally you love it.

Music here is an unique union of prog metal and neo prog. This LP is from 1996 but it sounds like it was from 2005 or even 2010 :) The music from the past and music from the futere in the same way. Musicians are profesionalists and music lover people. We have here really hard metal sounds and heavy riffs as well as beautifull melodies and fantastic solos.

This CD is only in POlish and it is a pity for all outside Poland. Anyway Adam Lassas voice sounds just like another instrument. What is he singing about? Well... all and nothing. Most of all the lyrics are about misterium, sacrum and profanum, about assasings, about Tarot and about all forbbiden by church things. And all lyrics are poetical.

All in all : Abraxas is another Polish great prog rock band, toghether with SBB, Riverside, Quidam, Lizard and many others.

5 stars. I would give 6, 7 or even 10 if it would be possible. You MUST have it !!! You won't be disappointed.
