3 stars TOXIC??!!

This is a mini DVD that has 5 songs, 3 audio and 2 video tracks. The audio ones are, as the title shows, "Thankyou Whoever You Are" in its shortened version that also appears in their other singles from the same series, and "Most Toys" in its regular version.

The third audio track and the most amazing thing on this release is the cover song of "Toxic" from...Britney Spears!!... yes, you read correclty...Britney Spears. But hold on! Is not as bad as it sounds at first. This version is a live recording and is actually interesting, in fact it takes a few seconds for the audience to recognize the song, which starts very slow with piano and Mr. h singing smoothly and then it becomes closer to the original one when the rest of the band takes on until a good guitar solo break in and the the song turns rockier to finish with multiple applause from the crowd. Not that is a great track but at least better than the original version.

The best part of this DVD are the video tracks of 2 live songs: "Thankyou..." and "Most Toys". Both excellently played and perfectly shot with a great camera direction and a nice stage lightning (similar to Marbles on the road).

An interesting DVD, but the best i can give it is 3 stars because is good but not essential (maybe for some Marillion fans).

Viva el Prog!
