3 stars I hated Yes growing up in the '70s. Finally, in 1992, at the age of 26, two guys that I thought were really cool, were listening to the "latest" Yes album (UNION). I only began to like it becuase I thought they were cool. Then I bought it myself, my first YES album. I couldn't believe it - I bought a Yes album. I really dug it. I fell in love with Jon Anderson's voice. I have since discovered the truly great Yes music - this aint it, but it's still good. This album finds its way onto my old CD player about 10-12 times a year. It takes me back to a good place and time in my life. I think Jon Anderson is one of the greatest singers - his voice, his pitch, his phraseology, and his pronunciation are so unique, so cool, just like my friends.
