4 stars As far as ecletic prog are going, I see light at the end of the tunel! (we're in a tunel?... oh well...).

PANDORA SNAIL firts album are a completly delight to people who likes ecletic prog, with some heavy leanings and plenty of violin. The first track already bring you everything what this album might be. As heavy riffs, changes in tempo and great violins melodies carry you away with no problem. The most gentle tracks, as the follow up "By the mountain river" and the later "Stones Names" (this one curiously remembering me some moments of MARCO ANTONIO ARAUJO) works well between the most frenetic offerings, where the vilolin of Artem Gareev really stole the scene. "James Pont" is a ambitious and large track that not let you down in its 16min long. "Dance under the bullets" is a interesting track, as the title of the album and its cover evoque certainly an uncertain and atmosphere of, well, "War and Peace". If "Dilemma" started out with heavyness, the last minutes of "Satori" closes the album with that feeling of happiness you have after running a marathon. And perhaps that was the idea, not only because 62 minutes have passed, but because conflicts, war and everything else doesnt last forever.

As I will wait anxiously for their next album, this one is a great adition to the last offerings of ecletic prog. To figure among the top.
