ELEGANT GYPSY

I first heard of Al Di Meola from my Dad, So i decide to check out Al Di Meola's Elegant Gypsy. The first time listening to it I was blown away, the guitar playing was unreal and never have i heard anything like it before. The album starts off great with flight over Rio, a real latin jazz feel to this song. A fantastic opener,one of the highlights of the album.There is really not a weak track on this album.This album also features world class musicians like the great acoustic work Paco De lucia,and fellow Return to Forever buddy Lenny White,and former pianist of Mahavishnu Jan Hammer. Race with the Devil,Mediterranean Sundance, and Elegant Gypsy Suite are the other highlights of this incredible album. If you want to hear some great Latin jazz fusion listen to this album. Al Di Meola at his best!
