MEDDLE

This is perhaps the most overrated album I have ever heard of, one of the worst albums I've ever listened to. Awful from beginning to end, showing childish musicianship and song construction, at its best (the opener), Meddle is below mediocre, and at its worst (Echoes), vomitable. Echoes is so boring that it saps years off of your life expectancy, the muscial equivalent of the Machine from the Princess bride. Listening for Gilmour solo badly with no technique for what feels like a millenium over the same uninteresting bass riff is not what I would call entertainment. And don't get me started on Mason's laughable efforts on the drums. Simply despicable.
