2 stars Ok, Japan and David Sylvain are good. But not Japan music. Is only a New Wave meets Technical POP! And this album isn't the exception. If you love this type of music this album is good, true. But if you don't love this musical genre this Synth POP isn't for you. Really. I'm a right person and when I judge an album like Gentlemen Take Polaroids I product a very long effort to understand what can affect other persons or for convinced that Gentlemen Take Polaroid is an album for their discography. Is only my personal idea but Japan is a great band. But for 1980. Not for the history of Prog!

P.s.: David Sylvain is a great musicians. Listen to Gentlemen Take polaroids, Burning Bridges, Methods Of Dance or Talking Islands In Africa and then tell me if David Sylvain isn't a superior writer for New wave.
