WHAT BURNS NEVER RETURNS

This is the only album that I have by Don Caballero, and it's very different. This is Post-Rock or Math Rock that is dominated by the drums. I can't think of another band that is set up this way. The drumming is pretty intense, but in a good way. The other instruments come together in a harsh or dissonant fashion, so this is not an easy album to listen to. It is very interesting though. I do plan on obtaining DC's second allbum at some point or other, since it seems to be generally regarded as the band's best.
