3 stars Reunion as UNION of ABWH and YesWest.

This album features 8 Yes veteran members, fantastic line-up, isn't it? But what a shame result... Some tracks were written almost by ABWH, some by YesWest and completely we have 15 tracks on this one! Freaking record! Yes ahoi!!! But the main thing that here we have many pointless compositions, so this album is one of the worst (but not the badest) for me. The majority of a material is so primitively, and i even don't want to comment each song for a long time.

I Would Have Waited Forever - 5/5 - it's great memorable melodic song, not bad for opening. Shock to the System - 4,5/5 - sometimes soungs great, sometimes disgustingly. Masquerade - 4/5 - Howe's solo is quite good but don't holds out to the level of his great early works. Lift Me Up - 5/5 - the best song on this album and my favourite also. I found it very progressive and merodic. Masterpiece of 90's prog music! Without Hope You Cannot Start the Day - 3,75/5 - Jon's snotty song, sounding sometimes proggy, but seriously that's not what i call real prog. Saving My Heart - 3,5/5 - maybe the worst Rabin's work for me after Love Will Find A Way. Very strange style, this is not Yes. Miracle of Life - 5/5 - didn't like this song at the first time. Now i love it! The best track after Lift Me Up and Silent Talking. It reminds me the well-known old Yes. And this is the longest track on this album! Silent Talking - 5/5 - same this as in Miracle of life. But this one i loved since i heard it first time. Real treat from ABWH! The More We Live - Let Go - 3,5/5 - one of the worst on this LP, dislike this boredom. Angkor Wat - 3/5 - dissapointing thing from Jon and Rick. One of the worst too. World music is pointless here. The worst 5 minutes of Yes music ever! Dangerous (Look in the Light of What You're Searching For) - 4/5 - a little better than previous two tracks. I think Union ends with the eighth track. Holding On - 3,75/5 - bullshit beginning and good melodic ending, nothing to say. Evensong - 2,5/5 - pointless piece by Bruford, nothing to hear. Maybe it's the worst track of Yes that i ever heard, even worse than Five per cent for nothing. Take the Water to the Mountain - 4,5/5 - ballad by Jon. Not bad, possible to lisen to. Give and Take - 5/5 - now this is the point for listening this album up to the end! This is a real surprise for the happy people who have the European release of Union, cuz this is LE bonus track. And it sounds great, such a treat!!! Mix of melodic rock and prog rules!!!

The average mark is 4, but this album because of those couple of disgusting tracks and amount of 15 songs takes 3 stars from me. Union does not deserve greater.
