2 stars Psychedelic monotonic funk rock, as Pinch is. Sing Swan Song is more bluesy, but it could be even more psychedelic and melancholic. I think two first songs are quite boring. One More Night reminds me even of The Cure and Michael Jackson, it's light homosexual samba, haha, and i like it as an odd piece, though it's odd maybe much because it sounds so normal and light, well. pop, with some musical theatre influences. Vitamin C is my favourite, it's catchy. Soup is also very tasty, a bit like Pinch but more rough with more experiments, this is krautrock as its best, noises are great, and though the song is long with so many noise elements, it catches the listener - it's even scary. I'm So Green is like introspective (in a musical point - i rarely listen to the lyrics so well), and groovy, almost math prog, though it seems like a simple song. Spoon has different kind of influences, like oriental, but its sound and other things are too light and childish, like it wants to be different but actually isn't anything special.

I really like this album or at least tracks 4,5 and 6 that I don't get tired listening like the others often. The concept is nice and I recommend it for people who don't know what it is or who like all psychedelic music. But the compositions just can't be so great as long as you are staying in this kind of concept, but the work getting macro and micro variation in this kind of music is difficult and I appreciate the musicians for their success.

I could have given more stars but I somehow just didn't feel good doing it.
