3 stars The Pooh: 43 years (really too many!) of uninterrupted presence in the Italian music scene: years of light, very light pop songs, and some slight glimmer of good symphonic music. Nothing to say about the value of musicians, Dody Battaglia is a great guitarist, but their musical proposal in all these years has always been tied to the great commercial success. Parsifal is the only decent band's album, made after the departure of Riccardo Fogli (another guru of Italian pop music), and contains perhaps the two greatest songs ever written by Pooh: "L'Anno, Il Posto, L'Ora", with poignant atmosphere, and "Parsifal (part 1 / part 2)", their absolute masterpiece, a great symphonic piece, well played and with a remarkable orchestral arrangement. Everything else is boredom.
