5 stars Named after a stupid (dutch) joke, about shitting out the window.

A mother had two sons, one was named Pudding and the other one was named Yesterday. They were having fun, pooping out the window. A passer-by got pooped upon his head. That's when he confronted their mother. When she asked: "was it Yesterday". the man replied: "no!". Then the mother said: "Oh, then it is Pudding!".

Dutch jokes are terrible, I know. But the music isn't. There are 3 short funny songs, two rather poppy songs with tongue-in-cheek lyrics, rather in the vein of Caravan. The shortest song is interesting because not only the title is a palindrome, but the music is a palindrome aswell.

The two longer songs are Canterbury-style jazzrock/fusion/sympho epics with lots of dynamics, solos (keys and flute). They range from sheer force to beautiful piano-pieces (ala Satie, the end part of the titletrack).

This is pure essential for progrock lovers. Especially side two, wich I can't think of any better 20 minute prog-epic. Maybe guitar-lovers will miss the guitar, but I sure don't miss it.

Anyone into Caravan, Camel, Kraan and Soft Machine should really check this out.
