CHUPACABRAS

This is a typical album where it was not love at first site. At first I thought that the song Party was the only track I really liked. However the sounded great at the first listenings it keeps growing and growing on me. The album starts with a beautifull mix of soft voices, a dark male voice and the softer woman's voice makes it perfect. Then the epic of the album starts wich is really a masterpiece! This song is definitely in my personal cue of best songs ever! The voices and melodies are just breathtaking in this one. The song Party is a beautiful poppy song with great cynical lyrics in it. The song Sunburned is rather heavy if you compare this with the other songs on the album. The album ends with another musical jewel named Titan. This album together with Doomsday afternoon are real great musical achievements. Oh my God what do I love these two records of Phideaux! Let's hope that Number 7 is an album of the same kind, I just want more of this because I'am really hooked to these two albums. But maybe it is to much to ask them to produce another record with the same level of quality. It will be released in June, so we have to be patient. ;-)
