4 stars 3.5: A collectioon of good songs by Pink Floyd that many overlooked because they were intended as a soundrack for a french movie. It has a more traditional sound from a prog rock band of that era, obviously with some space prog elements from the band, but it is different to the style used in their masterpiece albums that they produced at that time. It has more acoustic rythms and It remind me in some parts to their first album and for the acoustic sound a little to the Wish you were here, obviously without the quality of this one. I recommend this album when you want to hear something different to the style of the other albums but keeping with Pink Floyd. There are really good songs, not exceptional, but they keep you entertained and relax. In fact, I liked mainly because of that, it keep the pink floyd style but with more commercially standards, and also being more digestible music for a non prog listener or to listen it only when you are tired of hearing prog all day, because it happens sometimes. Also, lyrically is really good and consistent, there are some interesting reflections said. In conclusion a good collection of songs, with a more commercially format but at the end keeping the pink floyd style.
