LUMPY GRAVY

Fasten your seatbelts, people...It's Lumpy Gravy. The notorious early experimental album from the mad mind of Frank Zappa. I suppose this is one of those albums you either get or not get. Put me down for the latter. This is a mixed up collage of dialogue snippets, short pieces of musical ideas and random noises. There are parts of this that are monumentally annoying. However, I do understand that this is art and very "proggy". All in all, though, I can only put this down as a collectors item. If you want to discover Zappa, go with Joes Garage or Apostrophe, or Hot Rats. At least this is a short album...
