4 stars KAMELOT, A band who has been in the power metal world for a while now. And they are becoming better and better! the curtain falls!

First of al when you listen to the album you should put yourself in a different position; there is nothing progressive about this music. If dream theater could be called the masters of prog metal, then these guys are the masters of power metal. Now to the new album;

The songs are hits, each song has he's own melodical theme and always a very very catchy chorus. Dont start expecting extended instumental or soloing parts. just one guitar solo, the song. (the keys are always busy with creating big orchestral parts.) Every song is a little story in our history (like a ghost-opera?), you have some stories about world war 2 one about 19th century love and even one about the war in Iraq (even tough it isn't litteraly told). the sound of kamelot is very mature and that's something other power metal bands easily mis in there genre. there are no dragons, no fairy's, only very dramaticly love stories in different settings.

All the melodies on this album are so smooth and they flow into each other like nothing happend, wich makes it a very easy listening album! recomended to everyone who likes more symphonic/dramatic metal!
